FREELANCERS

NEEDED!

Mother’s Day week is one of the biggest weeks of the year on the flower farm, and this year it also falls the same weekend as a wedding..and graduation. Which means… it’s truly going to be an all-hands-on-deck kind of week.

I’m considering bringing on freelance helpers to work alongside me that week/weekend.

This is not a workshop or a learning opportunity — it’s a working job. The kind where we roll up our sleeves and do whatever needs to be done to get thousands of stems processed and out the door.

Some of the work looks like:
• filling and washing buckets
• stripping rose leaves and thorns
• processing and conditioning flowers
• floral design
• cleaning and prepping stems
• general studio organization and reset between projects

It’s behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything moving. Not glamorous, but absolutely essential.

Mother’s Day week moves fast. The right person for this is someone who enjoys being part of a hardworking team, can take direction well, and isn’t afraid of repetitive or physical tasks. You’ll likely be on your feet most of the time and working with buckets of water and lots of flowers.

If you’re interested in freelancing that week/weekend, please email me at anniesgardenblooms@gmail.com with the subject line “Mother’s Day Freelance Help.”

In your email, please include:

• Your experience working with flowers (if any) (this is not necessary)
• What types of work environments you thrive in
• How you prefer to receive direction (very detailed, general guidance, etc.)
• What you hope to get out of the experience
• Your availability the week of Mother’s Day
• Your hourly rate expectation

And just for fun — tell me your favorite flower so I know you read this whole post.

Mother’s Day is a special time for Annie’s Garden Blooms, and having the right team around that week makes all the difference.

P.S. - any text messages, social media DMs etc, will automatically be excluded. Sorry — but following directions is important!
