MARCH 14 - Cut Flower Gardening for People Who Kill Plants
March 14th
10a - 11:30a - The Shops at Brick City Fort Smith
Think you can’t keep a plant alive? Think again! As a local flower farm, I’ve designed this workshop to be approachable for anyone who’s ever struggled with gardening.
In this class, I’ll share my nearly 20 years of gardening experience and 6 years as a professional flower farmer, teaching you 5 fool-proof plants that thrive in our region and make beautiful cut flowers for your home. Some of these hardy favorites even grow well in less-than-perfect soil—and can handle a little neglect—so you can enjoy fresh blooms without stress.
You’ll leave with:
Confidence that you can grow flowers
Knowledge of the easiest, most productive cut flowers for our area
Tips for harvesting and caring for your blooms
Practical advice for soils, watering, and garden care without overwhelm
This workshop is perfect for beginners, “black-thumb” gardeners, and anyone who loves flowers but has never quite had the luck with plants.
Details:
90-minute class
Includes take-home cut flower seed packets and grow guides
No prior gardening experience required
